Ok, He is what he is. Can't change him don't want to. He his the dry humor man of the house. Out of no where he comes up with the silly stuff. He is the one that makes sure TORREY is on time. I call him Time keeper. He is the one that is my calm one (even if he is ticking like a time keeper on the inside). He came in without a hitch started the school year six weeks behind and said ok - do I really need to go to 7th grade and by the way MOM this isn't very hard!! Oh, and I signed him up for playing the BASS Clarinet, something he didn't play. Why not a challenge he was only getting new braces and a Herbst thing (like a major brace) put on - he's up for it!! So he does it!! Without a hitch!! He plays Soccer and Baseball - He even starts playing football lately with DAD. He goes to the High School games with dad here in PACE!! Hmmm nope, I don't go. He has a good arm - but would Mom let him play? That would be a good question.
Again, pictures tell it better than I can tell you!!
Enjoy!!
and yes!! his hair... well - we do have more options for getting it cut... he just does that hair over the eye thing so well!!
What can be said more in a simple slide show, she makes straight A's has caught up on the flute after taking a year off and not played her 7th grade year. She was six weeks behind in school and didn't miss a thing starting 8th grade here in Pace Florida where she still feels like things are a bit too easy. She loves doing TEEN court on Mondays and loves being the Lawyer!! Hmmm maybe a career change in the future!! She still wants to do DRAMA in HIGH SCHOOL but now I don't think she is going for Doctor as he specialty or Teacher as her skills in the argue catagory and debate are far surpasing my own.
We made the trip to Texas and are staying at Bubba and Wendy's house. The pool is fantastic and makes the 100-plus degree heat tolerable. We've gotten to eat BBQ, steak, and tonight we go to eat REAL Mexican food (not that Los Guererros junk!) We're having a great time. Enjoy some pictures.
Corbin and his All-Star Under 12 Soccer Team had their final game today against a strong team from nearby Momoishi Town. The two teams met on Leftwich Field in the morning hours of July 22nd, and in typical Misawa fashion it was cold and raining. A perfect ending to a crazy soccer season. The kids played harder than ever before, dodging puddles, clumps of mud, each other (unsuccessful at times) and had an absolutely marvelous time. It was a kid's dream come true--GO OUTSIDE AND PLAY IN THE RAIN!!
After our kids won 3-0, all of the kids gathered at midfield, exchanged Gatorades and Aquarius sports drinks and headed over to the pavilion for pizza! The Momoishites enjoyed the pizza, the comaraderie, and the fact that they got to play on grass today. When the got ready to leave, they thanked all of us in English. A very nice touch. They got on their bus and headed back to home with the invitation to come to their field in the fall and give it another go.
Sports. The great international equalizer. Only wish Corbin could be here in the fall to play against them again. He'll be playing against new kids and giving them heck just like he did against the Japanese kids. But we'll never forget playing against all of the great Japanese kids this year. We may even see a couple of them on the Japanese World Cup team in 8 years. Never know.
Corbin....Shaking....Can he do it... aha - his hair dresser is cute.... I think he can make it... at first he is not sure if he will be shy are he will even smile. NOPE no smile. not even a little bitty smile. But finally he makes it through the whole proccess and he has his hair cut and he actually likes it - WHEW - now he goes - DAD - TAKE ME NOW TO GO GET MICKEY 'D'S - of course his wish WAS GRANTED!! yeah!
Torrey - Totally different- in total control - she can't wait to have it done and she can't wait to have the FOUR, I said FOUR hours of hair proccessing it takes to have her hair straightened. WOW - She is a trooper and of course GETS NO FOOD - and has to just wait it all out!!
She is flirted by to Japanese boys but doesn't budge. She is waited on by no one and she just sits there patiently for the end result. She is such a great NON ADD or ADHD girl!! SO Proud of her!! and she never had to potty either hmmm.

I am Dyslexic/ make fun of me at least I don’t go lieing and stabbing people and friends in the back... ouch that hurts :) (smiley face)... So... for the person who BLOGGED about my use of HOMOPHONES... here you go:
Spelling/Homophone:
Highly indicative of spelling difficulties due to specific learning difficulties, this trait is the one most frequently underachieved by dyslexics. So my blog is not about me spelling it right but you understanding the meaning. If you don't like it. Don't read it. It's that simple.
